In Mediterranean designs, lived-in meets opulent, vibrant colors meet understated neutrals, and rustic meets rustic.Mediterranean design is warm, distinctive, and absolutely timeless. It has its roots in nations bordering the Mediterranean Sea, such as Spain, Greece, Italy, and Morocco. Every region has a unique area of expertise. Greece is filled with teal and turquoise accents, and Morocco is known for its rich textures and elaborate wood carvings. Beautiful tilework and terra-cotta floors are the main attractions of Spain. These components combine to create distinctive characteristics that characterize Mediterranean homes, such as textured walls, natural materials like stone and wood, bright textiles, and rustic furnishings.
